A cinematic trailer narrated by 50 Cent was released to promote Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz collaborative album.

Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz shared a promo video on Monday (November 13) to up the anticipation for their upcoming collaborative album, Welcome 2 ColleGrove.

However, the promotional video did much more than excite the fans for the album. The cinematic album trailer was narrated by Power Book’s producer 50 Cent. This alone sent the waiting fans into an uncontrolled excitement for the collaborative album.

50 Cent narrated the trailer by telling the upbringings of both Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, along with how they came together as a musical duo.

“Let me tell you a story about these two guys that eventually became brothers.

You got this kid named Tune, Tunechi, some sh*t like that. Straight out of 17th of New Orleans. Been rich since he was like 13, [or] 14 years old. He came with his own style. They tried to steal his sh*t. He ended up putting the whole game on his back, had clientele for years and always had good product.

And then you got Slim from the South Side of Atlanta. Loved playing basketball, he’s a real mama’s boy. And that’s how he got the name Tity Boi. Slicker than a spill of oil. Soon as he got his hands on his first pack and flipped that, he never looked back.

And when they met up and devised a plan on how to take over the land, it kind of went like this.
