Hip-Hop lyricist Lil Wayne has received another musical accolade to add to his collection. Although many feel as though this was long overdue, Lil Wayne is nothing but grateful for the induction into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame.

Weezy was honored by Billboard’s executive director, Gail Mitchell, and the entire Billboard committee as they welcomed the long-time rapper into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame.
Lil Wayne mentioned that he paused his studio session to attend the ceremony and give gratitude to God, his family, his supporters, and to Billboard.
After the ceremony, Wayne made it clear that he will be returning back to the studio. It is said that Lil Wayne is working on the highly anticipated album, “Carter 6.”
