First Take host Stephen A. Smith insist the San Francisco 49ers will not see a victory against the Detroit Lions without their star receiver Deebo Samuel.

Deebo’s Shoulder Injury Against The Packers

Saturday night (January 20), wide receiver Deebo Samuel suffered a left shoulder injury during the first half of the game against the Green Bay Packers during the NFL Divisional Round. Samuel did not return to the field for the second half of the game even through Samuel told staff that he was “Ok.”

According to ESPN‘s Adam Schefter, the 49ers consider it “50-50” as to whether Deebo Samuel will be able to play in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.

Stephen A. Smith Says 49ers Will Lose Against The Lions

Stephen A. Smith responded to the details of Samuel’s shoulder injury urging that the San Francisco 49ers will not win against the Detroit Lions on Sunday’s game (January 28), if Deebo Samuel is not on the field with the team.

“I’m undecided on whether or not San Francisco or Detroit is going to win this game. That becomes very clear to me. The San Francisco 49ers are not beating the Detroit Lions without Deebo Samuel. I don’t believe that for a second. I think they need Deebo in order to advance and get to the Super Bowl and have a shot to win it. You don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell, in my opinion, of beating Kansas City or Baltimore without Deebo and I don’t think Detroit either.”
